Dominic Silvestri was born in Cleveland, received a Business Administration degree from Bowling Green State University, and after one too many progressively colder winters endured in Chicago and Minneapolis, settled in San Diego in 1998. His professional career launched at Akron General Medical Center marketing Wellness and Occupational Health programs, first to Akron-area employers and later nationwide. Doing so seeded a lifelong commitment to making wise and healthful lifestyle choices. Nonetheless, he faced a chronic health challenge that made him eligible for Medicare coverage first in 1996, and off and on since until the present. He was an early participant in the first Medicare Advantage plans, and more recently switched coverage to a Medicare Supplement and stand-alone Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Plan. His nearly 30 years of personal experience first helped answer Medicare questions from friends and family members. More recently he pursued formal training and now offers the general public patient, thorough assistance understanding their Medicare Advantage, Supplement, and Prescription Drug Plan options.
